History In Brief
Bahagian ini diletakkan di bawah seliaan Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap I (Industri). Terdapat 2 seksyen utama dalam Bahagian ini iaitu Bahagian Pengurusan Bajet Pembangunan, dan Industrial and Investment Division.
This division performs the following functions:
i. Domestic and International Trade
ii. Development of Bumiputera Commercial and Industrial Community (MPPB)
iii. Industrial development including Resource Based development on minerals, industrial crops, oil and gas
iv. Investment Promotion
v. BIMP EAGA
vi. Local investment and FDI
vii. Enterprise and Trade Development including SMI
viii. Industrial Estate Development
ix. Perkhidmatan- perkhidmatan sokongan berkaitan pembuatan termasuk R&D untuk sector industri seperti Procurement Centre, Ibu pejabat operasi, Pusat R&D dan Pusat Logistik
i. Domestic and International Trade

iii. Industrial development including Resource Based development on minerals, industrial crops, oil and gas

ix. Perkhidmatan- perkhidmatan sokongan berkaitan pembuatan termasuk R&D untuk sector industri seperti Procurement Centre, Ibu pejabat operasi, Pusat R&D dan Pusat Logistik
i. Answer inquiries and provide information required by investors within three (3) working days
ii. Process applications to obtain a Federal Manufacturing License (FML) and Sabah Government Approval (SGA) within 30 working days
iii. Ensure that every industrial park under the responsibility of KPP is developed according to the master plan that has been set
iv. Processing all payments and issuance of Development Allocation Warrants within three (3) working days, subject to approval with complete and in order supporting documents,
v. Process and certify all allocation applications from agencies under the KPP before being submitted to the State and Federal Government authorities within 2 months.
ii. Process applications to obtain a Federal Manufacturing License (FML) and Sabah Government Approval (SGA) within 30 working days
