History In Brief
The main responsibility of this UNIT is to help improve the overall ICT environment in the ministry. The main focus is to provide a stable and reliable network connection, ensure the latest ICT equipment is supplied, seamless internet connection, assisting in digitalization processes in the ministry and software procurement, and to help in ICT e-waste disposal.
Functions
- i. Help plan the computing system in this Ministry so that the transformation of the delivery system goes as planned, in accordance with the Strategic Plan of the State Computer Services Department (JPKN),
- ii. Assist the Ministry in planning and implementing digitization initiatives in line with the 5A concept aspired by the State Secretary
- iii. Help the ministry plan and implement education and awareness programs regarding ICT Transformation and Security in line with the JPKN Strategic Plan
- iv. Administer the Server Room and ensure that the network and local network equipment including Wifi in this ministry are in good condition so that online applications can be used efficiently and effectively
- v. Assisting the Ministry in the disposal of ICT equipment waste, by complying with the procedures for the disposal of ICT assets set by the state Ministry of Finance.
